What is BuildYourRack?
BuildYourRack (also called Build Your Rack) is online rack design software operated by StageGrid Systems. As of 31 July 2026 it helps you plan 19" and half-rack elevations, place gear from a live catalog, map I/O, and export or share builds — without installing desktop CAD.
What you can do
Choose rack size (commonly 4U–48U), add servers, switches, PDUs, patch panels, and AV modules, route connections, and export PNG, PDF, or JSON on paid plans. Hobby users can start free with limited saves and PNG export.

Homelab enthusiasts, network engineers, AV integrators, and small IT teams who need accurate rack documentation faster than spreadsheets or general diagramming tools.
